Mother's Day

Mother's Day designs are now available to purchase from my online shop and my stockist Powder Blue. Bespoke designs are also available upon request, please contact via email or my shop. These up-cycled vintage plates are one offs....no two plate designs are the same. All plates are carefully selected by me, from vintage and charity shops all over the UK....the prettier the better.

Styling

After meeting Selina Lake last month she has asked me to design her a range of bespoke designs for her forthcoming styling photo shoots.

Since sending these to her she has been photographing the bespoke up-cycled plates and posting on her Instagram @selinalake.

I love the way Selina puts everyday objects together....the colours and patterns always work so well. I am excited to see if Heart Vintage plates appear in the magazines Selina styled for....watch this space. 

New Stockist - The Exchange

Heart Vintage up-cycled plates and vintage hoop art are available to buy at The Exchange, situated in the centre of Leicester's Cultral Quarter opposite the Curve Theatre.

The Exchange regularly host live music events & stand up comedy nights. The downstairs basement is free to hire for weddings & birthdays. The decor is a mixture of retro and vintage finds - the perfect setting for my up-cycled designs. If you haven't already been, go check it out. Photos are taken and edited by Linda Blann.

New Stockist - Powder Blue

What an eventful week! After attending Selina's book signing last week (read about it here) I now have a new stockist Powder Blue. Powder Blue is a lovely home and garden shop in Leicester. I'm in love with everything they stock - so many vintage finds. If you're visiting Leicester, please make sure you go and check it out!

Heart Vintage photoshoot

A few weekends ago we did a little photoshoot, really enjoyed playing around with styling and pretty pleased with how the shots came out. All designs avaiable from my Etsy shop.

Selina Lake

On Saturday 8th February I visited Powder Blue home & garden shop in Leicester, for the book signing of Selina Lake's re-released interiors book Romantic Style. The lovely Selina signed my heap of books (I have all four) and can't wait for her next - titled Outdoor Living, which will be released next month.

As Selina has showed an interest in my up-cycled plates I designed three for her, which she kindly photographed and mentioned in her blog post here. I was so happy she liked them, and appreciated her lovely comments.

I hope to be able to work with Selina in the future.

Exciting Times!

After months of rummaging at car boots and becoming a regular at my local charity shops I'm finally ready to start designing....and selling. I'm so excited to show what's been a hobby for years. My love for vintage china and typography will finally be on show for everyone to see.
