In the latest issue of Prima Makes magazine Heart Vintage features in 'Be My Valentine'. Readers will be able to have a go at making a up-cycled vintage plate following my 'easy makes' instructions.



Styled by London stylist Selina Lake, the feature includes other handmade loveliness, photographed with beautiful fresh flowers & vintage finds....bloomin' lovely.

Instagram Snaps - April 2014

Another busy month for Heart Vintage, here's what I've been up to in April.....

.....my first giveaway winner, I designed a bespoke design with an a family photo which was very sentimental to Sarah-Louise - "Just received my competition prize from @heartvintageuk and I Thank-you from the bottom of my heart. I will treasure this always. It was the last pic ever taken of me with my Grandparents when we lived in Hong Kong and was their last holiday. Deeply missed every day. This plate means the world to me xxxxxxx" 

.....very excited to see my bespoke design in the 2nd issue of Prima Makes magazine.

.....a busy easter weekend sourcing new fabrics and vintage china for new products coming soon.

.....whilst we had the sunny weather I spent time decorating and gardening . Lots of up-cycling - I hope to share photos of my home over the next few weeks.

.....a friends wedding stationary came back from the printers - the designs featured a beautiful vintage balloon theme and typography. I've been working on these for a few months now, so lovely to see the finished product.

.....a trip to my favourite London store Liberty. I spent hours here, a very inspiring visit.

Prima Makes - Press

Excited to share that Heart Vintage is featured in the 2nd issue of the new Prima Magazine, Prima Makes. I designed a bespoke design using imagery from my favourite vintage floral & bird books, along with my quirky typography, speech bubbles and washi tape hearts. I worked on a larger scale - which was great as I could play around more with layout and add a lot more imagery than I normally would use on my saucer sized wall art. The up-cycled vintage dinner plate is featured on the editors page with a lovely comment and link to my Etsy shop. Many thanks to Selina Lake who beautifully styled this for the magazine. Hoping this is the first of many magazine features for Heart Vintage.
